Hi, everyone. I'm Jen and I am the unfortunate perpetrator of this madness. I am Stateside and Midwest-bound. I'm an old lady who's married to an old man and we have 5 fur-children. Well, okay. I'm not quite 40, but I'm too close for comfort, let's just say. First fell in mad adoration for James when I was a sophomore in high school and first saw him in 'A Tale of Two Cities' on Masterpiece Theatre (PBS). This was 1989 and WAY before the chaos we now know as the Internets. If it had existed back then, I'd have been on this forum like a fly on.....well, you know. Anyway, cleaning out things in our home for the Salvation Army, I ran across my ancient VHS copy of it, watched it, and am now glad that no one else ever came to the brilliant conclusion of making him a proper web forum. You're welcome. At any rate, when I'm not messing about with this, I can be found writing, editing, volunteering at various cat shelters, cooking, maintaining my reputation as a hip-hop historian, and listening to and curating music, whether it is putting up playlists or mixing and recording on my laptop with Ableton Live and throwing them up on Mixcloud. Varied girl, varied interests. Pow. There it is.

Hi. I just discovered this fan site (how did I miss it before?). 'A Tale of Two Cities' is def also one of my favorites. James looked greaaatttt in it, but I do have to say that Mr. Wilby still looks great! I first watched 'A Tale' when I was a little girl with my mom (she's also an enormous Wilbyite). Actually, her favorite expression is 'wilbylicious' lol. That's for when something is steamy or erotic. She also uses some other funny expressions like 'sneakerlicious' (don't know where that one came from), 'Travlota-tation', when someone's pants are too tight, and ding dong time (for eating). I don't know why I'm writing this, lol. I guess I just have a lot of positive associations with James Wilby (my mom) and am excited to learn more about him here. Thank you so much for starting this webpage.
Love, Glamazon 23

Oh my goodness! Wow! Hello! /waves So glad to see you, Glamazon, and welcome! I think your mom's expressions are hysterical. I think I'm gonna have to cop a few of those. Yeah---he has aged remarkably well. Please comment around and get the conversation restarted! I will be checking in far more often now you're here. Again, welcome, welcome. Best, Scully Z.

Why, hello, ScullyZ (if that is your real name) LOL. Here's my question: I love the guy (wilbster), but how do you reconcile the absolute genius of "Dreamchild" and the absolute "wonkywonk" (my mom's word/sound for disappointment) of "Shadows in the Sun"? I have to say, these are things that cross my mind often. I sometimes feel like I have unconditional love, but then I think, "wait, do I have conditional love" LOL. I mean, don't get me wrong. I am a number one fan type, but still...it's like when you are dating that guy and you are totally into it, but then he does that face when he's trying to break the long pastas in half with his front teeth when you're at dinner and he kind of looks like a rodent and you're like, whaaatttt?

:DROFLMAO!! I actually have never seen 'Shadows In The Sun'---stupid Amazon doesn't have it on instant video. Or at least they didn't last year. Was it really bad?
