And our group ended up at this little French place right on the coast in Playa del Mar. Found this little gem---and our group drank three bottles of it!!
And then the penny dropped. I am such a noob. There were two Bordeaux varietals on the menu and I FORGOT TO ORDER ONE! I cannot believe myself.
This was a fantastic red, though, and I am not a red drinker, as I've said before. Not too dry, not too fruity, not too heavy-duty.
