The Bordeaux Conundrum.

Haaaaaaaa.....see what I did there? J-Dub's favorite varietal is Bordeaux, though the UKers call it 'claret' for some odd reason. The rub lies in the fact that he wouldn't drink white wine if it slapped him in the face and said "YO! I'M FREE OF CHARGE!", and 'Conundrum' is one of my very favorite, albeit very expensive, whites.

I'm just gonna say it now: I live in whitey-whitebread redneck-ville. Bordeaux in your average sports bar is a trifle hard to come by. Not that I couldn't buy it and drink it at home, but WTH fun is that? Nah, man, I gotta get out and about. So, without further adieu, here is what I normally drink and a favorite winery to go with.


J-Dub fans, please be aware that, although I love red wine, I don't want it to stain my teeth.

1) (and I can almost hear JW's recoiling) Pinot Grigio; Santa Margherita

2) Sauvignon Blanc; Sterling Vineyards Reserve

3) Riesling; Château Ste. Michelle; Columbia Valley Harvest Select

4) White blend; Conundrum, Napa Valley



Reds??

I usually drink Malbecs from Argentina, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and red blends from Chile.

But VERY SPARINGLY. More tannins, more hangover; more red, more stains on my pearly whites. Well, we just can't have that, can we? ROFL.
