This was really, REALLY good! And I usually hate murder mysteries like Poirot/Agatha Christie. #boring
But this was supremely creepy and well-done! James is great as a present-day indifferent husband who totally freezes out his wife in the bedroom and a 19th-century sweet, lusty older man hopelessly in love with ..... KATE MAGOWAN?! :-P.
Oh, wait! Sorry----I was supposed to be giving a review, wasn't I? Anyway, there are many twists and turns, and poor James' characters get suspected more than once, but it was a really satisfying end. I don't want to give away spoilers! If you are like me and think old-time mysteries are irrelevant drivel, you will really like this one. I was trying to box donations up and kept stopping to watch!
